PEDAGOGICAL MECHANISMS FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS' COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS BASED ON A COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH

This article analyzes the pedagogical mechanisms for developing students’ communicative skills based on a competency-based approach. In the modern education system, the formation of communicative competence plays a significant role in students’ personal, social, and professional activities. The study highlights the pedagogical conditions, interactive methods, collaborative learning technologies, and didactic opportunities of competency-oriented education that contribute to the development of communicative skills. Furthermore, effective mechanisms aimed at fostering students’ communication culture, critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to express their opinions freely are identified. The research findings demonstrate the importance of the competency-based approach in improving educational quality and enhancing students’ communicative competence.
